SS. CYRIL & METHODIUS ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT FOR 2001

Fr. Larry Lisowski

November, 2001

Dear parishioners,

In this Financial Report, it is my privilege to present the women and men of our newly formed Finance Committee. They will assist me in the administration of the parish finances. As pastor, I will rely heavily on their financial expertise and skills to help me tend to the current and future needs of the parish.

SS. Cyril and Methodius is a growing parish. 30% of our of registered families have joined our community in just the past seven years! Soon we will have over 2000 families. It will be the mission of the Finance Committee to identify a long-range financial plan for the parish, address the numerous immediate capital repairs that need to be done on all our parish buildings, and establish a budget to support the ongoing ministries and operation of the parish.

Currently, our parish has a debt of $665,000-- and immediate capital repairs are estimated at $575,000-- e.g. roof repairs, tuck pointing of bell tower, and concrete work. This is a substantial burden for our parish. The sooner we can reconcile these financial issues, the sooner we will be able to increase our support to the overall ministries and programs offered in the parish.

I ask you to please take the time to read through this Financial Report. There is much for us to be proud of as a parish. A true hallmark of SS. Cyril and Methodius is the generosity of our parishioners. Many have shared their time, their talent, and their treasures for the life of the community. I am grateful for all of the support that people so willingly give to the parish.

Know that you are in my prayers. May God continue to bless us in all that we do in the name of our Lord.

Sincerely,
Fr. Larry Lisowski
Pastor
