Who We Are
Our volunteer staff publishes our quarterly parish publication, and currently includes 2 editors, a junior editor, a layout/graphic designer and a volunteer coordinator (who organizes other volunteers who prepare the publication for mailing). All parishioners and parish organizations are encouraged to submit parish-related news, announcements, acknowledgments, photos, etc.
What We Are About
We publish this newsletter to tell the story of good news about the life and happenings of our parish, thereby bringing together all parishioners and parish organizations using the written word.
What We Do
Three times a year we publish a parish newsletter intended to:
- Present parish news and announcements.
- Encourage and support positive exchanges among parishioners and parish organizations.
- Enlighten parishioners about larger Church issues.
Who We Serve
The parish newsletter is targeted to all parishioners, and to highlight various parish activities and organizations, through stories and sharing news.
We Welcome Volunteers
Parishioners are invited to help in various capacities. While you do not necessarily have to have a "writing" talent, anyone with an enthusiasm to help share news and keep all parishioners well-informed is welcome. Assignments may include taking photos of events, contacting individuals or organizations for information, soliciting first-hand accounts of parish activities, typing, generating ideas, etc. Opportunities are available for small and one-time commitments, as well as more on-going and involved projects.
