Dear Eighth Grade Parents,

We realize this year can be quite expensive. We know how school costs can add up throughout the year. Years ago, we began collecting “Class Dues” for eighth grade at the beginning of the year. These dues include the cost of the following:

                the class T-shirt,

the graduation retreat at Aylesford Retreat Center,

the Cubs game at the end of the year,

breakfast at Cog Hill on Ribbon Day,

                the DJ at the banquet,

the cost of the Constitution workbooks,

                graduate gifts at the banquet,

decorations for the tables at the banquet,

and many other small expenses incurred throughout the year.

Most parents have found it easier to pay for all these items all at once than to be constantly asked for fees throughout the school. Also, it allows us to make payments as needed, such as Cubs tickets as soon as they’re on sale, the cost of the T-shirts as soon as the students choose a design or the holding deposit for the DJ for the banquet. You may pay this entire fee of $65 all at once or make six payments starting now and completing them by Feb. 8. Whichever method you choose is fine. All checks should be made to: SS. Cyril & Methodius School. Please make a notation that the check is for CLASS DUES. This money will be placed into an account and used as the need arises during the year.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. You’ll thank us at the end of the year when the high school expenses begin to mount!

                                                        Sincerely,

                                                        Mr. Donald Sniegowski,

                Mrs. Barbara Szostak,
