Dear Eighth Grade Parents,

       The end has finally come. Friday, May 31^st will be your student’s last day here at SS. Cyril & Methodius School. A few reminders and important points:

1.    If your child takes the bus, they must continue to do so. They may walk home ONLY if you send a note.

2.    Due to the large class size, the seating for the graduation Mass will be on a first come, first serve basis, thus allowing as many seats as your family will need. NO LOTTERY WILL TAKE PLACE TO RESERVE SEATS.

3.    On Sunday, please have your student in their homeroom at 12:30 P.M., wearing their cap and gown, any awards they received (on the left side at the horizontal seam).

4.    Boys should wear white shirts and ties under their gowns.

5.    Girls should have their white collars attached to their gowns. Moms, it is a good idea to lightly stitch the collars to the gown. They stay in place and don’t pop out.

6.    Your Washington trip money is due on or before Friday, May 31^st. If you are unsure of your balance have your student ask about it. I will make a final trip there on Friday afternoon.

7.    Those students going to Washington on Tuesday, June 19^th should be in the gym at 5:00 P.M. to have their luggage checked. Remember no food or beverages except water.
