Welcome to SS. Cyril & Methodius School

Welcome back to top

Mission Statement
The Mission of SS. Cyril and Methodius School is to educate each unique child by providing a foundation of Catholic values and academic excellence.  We do this in conjunction with the parent, the primary educator, who we feel is the most significant partner in Catholic education.  Our Mission calls us to teach the message of Jesus, to encourage service to others, and to prepare students to become life-long learners.

Dear Parent
Welcome to SS. Cyril and Methodius School in Lemont, IL.  Established in 1884, our school educates students from preschool to eighth grade.  Our aim is to provide opportunities for each child to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically and emotionally.

Our student's spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional growth is cultivated with a strong religious education program, an advanced curriculum, and after school activities.   Dedicated adults, including religious, professional staff and volunteer parents, play a significant role with  their generous contributions of time, expertise, and caring attention.  In addition, comprehensive facilities and support services enhance our students' development.

We invite you to share in our strong tradition of quality education in a Catholic environment.
