Deacon Michael Ciciura
I was born May 25th, 1969 to parents Sylvester and Genevieve Ciciura who have been married for 52 years. I grew up in St. Joseph’s Parish on 48th Street and Hermitage Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, Chicago, IL. After graduating from Quigley Seminary South High School in 1987, I attended Niles College Seminary of Loyola University in Chicago. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991 with a BA degree in Philosophy and a BS degree in Mathematics. I attended one year at St. Mary of the Lake Seminary in Mundelein.
I have worked at Lisle Saving Bank since 1992 and am currently the Branch Manager of LSB Financial Services, an investment subsidiary of the bank. In 1996, I married Denise Ciciura and lived in Chicago. In 1999, I moved to Lemont. In 2003, I received an MBA from Benedictine University with a concentration in Organizational Development/Portfolio Theory. In 2011, I was ordained a permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Chicago. I now serve at SS. Cyril & Methodius Parish.
My hobbies are reading classical literature, golfing, going to movies, travel and watching sports (White Sox, Bulls and Blackhawks). Sorry, I am a Green Bay Packers fan. My favorite place to visit is the Hawaiian Islands and I love pizza, steak and hot fudge sundaes.
