Booking Your Wedding

The process of booking your wedding at SS. Cyril & Methodius begins by contacting the
parish office at 630-257-2776 or email secretary@stcyril.org so that you might inquire
about available dates.  Weddings may be celebrated six days a week, with our most popular
day being Saturday at 11 AM, 1 PM or 3 PM. Sunday weddings are not offered. Once your
date is booked by the secretary, a marriage questionnaire is sent to you and your future
spouse to be completed and returned along with a non-refundable $100 deposit. This is
to ensure your date is set aside for you!

Wedding Preparation

Each engaged couple is required to complete a Pre-Cana marriage preparation class.
Please visit www.familyministries.org to begin registration for your marriage prep class.
SS. Cyril & Methodius does offer an in-home PreCana which a parish couple would host at
their home.  Please contact Sue (smnosal@att.net or 630-257-1271) for specific dates and
times.  A pre-marriage inventory, better known as FOCCUS, is also a requirement.
Information from www.foccusinc.com will be sent to you via email.  Two Witness
Affidavits are also required for both the bride and the groom.  These affidavits will be given
to you when you meet with your presider.

In the document Celebrating Marriage at SS. Cyril & Methodius Parish you will find all the necessary information you need in order to be completely prepared for your big day in our church. You'll see all the necessary documents that you will need to obtain or that we will need to fill out together. You'll also see details on planning the liturgy, frequently asked questions, fees, flowers, photography and videotaping.  Please closely read Celebrating Marriage at SS. Cyril & Methodius Parish, as it even includes very important details such as dimensions of our center aisle, how many pews and so on.  We want your wedding day to run as smoothly as you do; therefore, adhering to these guidelines is very important.
